Camila Ibarra Gallego, Account Coordinator
Camila Ibarra Gallego is an account coordinator at J. Walcher Communications. She works with the JWC team producing press materials, managing media events, creating social media and digital content, and conducting media research and outreach across all client sectors including retail/restaurant, nonprofit, and professional services.
She previously worked as an event coordinator at Gaslamp Event Management and Wine, Eat and Travel, an international event and travel agency operating across Mexico, collaborating with clients navigating event conceptualization, planning and production that helped transform ordinary moments into memorable experiences – a skillset that translates into public relations. She is Mexican American and speaks and writes both in English and Spanish, also serving as a spokesperson for long-time JWC client Bazaar del Mundo.
Camila graduated from University of San Diego with a bachelor’s degree in communications studies in 2020. Additionally, she has lived and studied abroad in Switzerland and Italy, completing more than two hundred hours of customer service experience and writing about arts and culture for an English-speaking magazine in Florence.
