Olivia Rodriguez, Account Coordinator
Olivia Rodriguez is an account coordinator at JWC. She works to produce press materials, coordinate client events, produce social media content, conduct media outreach and ensure successful client relations across sectors including nonprofit, arts and culture, real estate, restaurant, legal and retail.
Prior to joining JWC, Rodriguez worked for KPBS, San Diego’s PBS and NPR station, as the social media assistant. While there, she created graphics and video content across all KPBS social media platforms, with a focus on local and national news, upcoming events and personal stories of San Diegans countywide.
Rodriguez started her career with public relations and marketing internships in health and wellness, lifestyle and nonprofit (inewsource, San Diego Documenters). She is especially known for her expertise in writing, social media and video production.
Rodriguez graduated from San Diego State University with a bachelor’s degree in journalism with an emphasis in public relations and a minor in television, film and new media. During her schooling, she served as the vice president of SDSU’s PRSSA chapter and was a longstanding radio show host at KCR, SDSU’s premiere radio station.
She graduated summa cum laude and was invited to join Phi Beta Kappa, America’s oldest and most prestigious academic honors society, for which she remains a lifelong member.
