J. Walcher Communications Adds Anza Borrego Foundation to Client Roster
J. Walcher Communications, a San Diego public relations and marketing agency, has been hired by Anza Borrego Foundation (ABF) to build public awareness of the Foundation and the wide variety of offerings of Anza-Borrego Desert State Park for ABF’s 50th anniversary during the 2016-17 season. Anza-Borrego is the largest state park in California.
Through public relations services, J. Walcher Communications will lead ABF’s media relations efforts, with the goal of generating increased funds for the nonprofit, building membership and growing visitorship.
Since 1967, Anza Borrego Foundation has been promoting the conservation of the land, wildlife and culture of Anza-Borrego Desert State Park. As the only nonprofit devoted to assisting Anza-Borrego Desert State Park and official state partner, ABF helps protects the Park’s more than 600,000 acres and over 1,500 species of plants and animals.
The Foundation’s educational and research programs are vital to its mission of building a larger knowledge and appreciation of the surrounding threatened ecological landscape.
Through donations and dedicated efforts, ABF is able to acquire thousands of acres of land for the Park yearly, teach the public about the Park and back crucial research.
